The Massachusetts Regional Caring Science Consortium is a local grass-roots forum, that emerged from the Watson Caring Science Institute’s International Caritas Consortium (ICC), to increase opportunities in exploring the philosophy, ethic, and practices of Caring Science in the Massachusetts and New England area.

Most Recent Consortium Conference
The last free, online MRCSC program, entitled Human-Centered Leadership in Healthcare, was held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. It was well attended with over 400 registrants. The key speakers were nurse authors and entrepreneurs, Kay Kennedy, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, CPHQ; Susan Campis, MSN, RN, NE-BC; and Lucy Leclerc, PhD, RN, NPD-BC, co-authors of the 2020 article in Nurse Leader, “Human-Centered Leadership: Creating Change from the Inside Out”, and the soon to be published book, Human-Centered Leadership in Healthcare: Evolution of a Revolution, with a foreword by Jean Watson. The speakers also serve as Senior Principal Consultants for “uLeadership, LLC”, a consulting team teaching nurses and other healthcare leaders a new contemporary approach to Human-Centered Leadership in Healthcare.
The MRCSC thanks the speakers, Merrimack College for providing the Zoom Webinar venue, Endicott College for applying for attendees CEUs, and of course the MRCSC leadership team for arraigning this program.
